USciences to C-L-O-S-E for Eagles Parade 2/8

Dear Campus Community,

The Philadelphia Eagles historic Super Bowl victory deserves a celebration … and a parade.

After receiving information concerning road closures and limitations being placed on mass transit, we feel it is in the best interest of the campus community to cancel day and evening classes and close offices on Thursday, Feb. 8, 2018. Online classes will be held at the discretion of the instructor.

Essential operations such as Public Safety and Facilities will receive updated schedules from their supervisors for coverage. Please check emergency.usciences.edu for updated dining and ARC schedules.

If you plan to attend the parade please remember to be a responsible USciences Eagles fan and represent the University well. For updates on the parade, please text ReadyEagles to 888-777, and the city will send free text alerts throughout the day with information on transit, weather, public safety, and more.

Additional, information on public transportation can be found on http://www.septa.org/eagles

What an exciting time to be in Philadelphia! Enjoy the festivities.

Dining service hours are as follows:

Wilson dining 10:30a-7:00p
All other venues closed
Regular hours resume Friday

The ARC will have modified hours, opened from 4pm-7pm.
