Sexual Assault - Clark Park

Dear Campus Community,

The University was recently made aware of a sexual assault that occurred in Clark Park between December 16, 2017 and January 14, 2018 at approximately 9:00 PM. The assailant was not known to the victim, nor has the assailant been apprehended. We will continue to update the University community if and when additional information becomes available. Please remain aware of your surroundings and consider utilizing the following University services.

Please be reminded that for ALL emergencies Dial 911 first.

Be prepared to give your name, location, and nature of your emergency.

USciences Delayed Opening for 1/9/18

Due to current road conditions, USciences will open at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2018. Essential personnel for facilities and public safety will continue with scheduled shifts as per their supervisors. The ARC will open at 11 a.m. as well.

Early Closing of Campus - 1/8/18 @ 1:00p

Due to the forecast of inclement weather, the University is dismissing non-essential employees as of 1 p.m. today (Monday, Jan. 8). Essential operations such as Public Safety and Facilities will receive updated schedules from their supervisors. As there is a risk of continued difficult travel Tuesday morning, the State of the University address has been rescheduled to Thursday, Jan. 11 at 9 a.m. with breakfast to follow. Please be safe in your travels.

USciences Now Closed 1/5/18

Due to continued inclement weather conditions, USciences offices will remain closed on Friday, Jan. 5. Essential operations such as Public Safety and Facilities will receive updated schedules from their supervisors for coverage. The ARC will be closed.

Delayed Opening for 1/5/18

Due to current and expected a.m. road conditions, USciences will open at 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 5, 2018. Essential personnel for facilities and public safety will continue with scheduled shifts as per their supervisors. Any additional status change will be communicated by 7:30 a.m. Friday.

Winter Storm - 1/4/18

Due to the forecast of a severe winter storm in the Philadelphia region, particularly during the AM commute, USciences offices will be closed on Thursday, Jan. 4. Essential operations such as Public Safety and Facilities will receive updated schedules from their supervisors for coverage of tomorrow’s weather event. The University anticipates resuming normal operations on Friday, Jan. 5.
