Dear Campus Community,
On Friday, Feb. 17, 2017, from approximately 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., there will be a gathering in Clark Park in support of National Strike Day. Designated as the “West Philly Community Strike,” the gathering point for this event has been established as 43rd and Baltimore Avenues.
Please be aware that given the proximity of this event to our campus, this event could potentially impact travel to and from campus. It is suggested that you have an alternate route planned to avoid this area.
While we do not anticipate a disruption to University operations, classes, or building access, the Department of Public Safety will monitor the situation and provide updates via text alert, email, and the website, if necessary.
As always, the campus is reminded to call USciences Public Safety at 215-596-7000 or 911 in the event of emergency situation.
Sincerely,
Michael Stitley
Director of Public Safety
