09/21/12 Robbery

On Friday 9/21/12, at approximately 3:15pm, the Department of Public Safety received a report of a robbery at 41st and Woodland Avenue. The victim, a USciences student reported that the below suspects, approached her from behind as she crossed the intersection of 41st and Woodland Avenue. One of the males reached into her backpack and took her cell phone. The victim reported that she chased after the one individual, but was unable to retrieve her phone. The victim reported that she was not injured.

The victim described the suspects as: three African-American males between the ages of 14-16 years old. Suspect #1 (took the phone), wore a black shirt and blue jeans. Suspect #2 wore a red tee-shirt and black jeans. There was no description given on suspect #3. Suspects fled north on 41st street.
