11/10/2009: H1N1 Vaccination Availability November 13, 2009

The Philadelphia Department of Public Health Division of Disease Control (PDPHDDC) has provided a limited supply of the H1N1 vaccine to the University. Outlined below are the groups recommended by the Center for Disease Control to receive the 2009 H1N1 influenza vaccine.

·     College students through 24 years of age;

·     Pregnant women;

·     Parents and caregivers for children younger than 6 months of age;

·     Healthcare and emergency medical services personnel;

·     Persons age 25 through 64 years who have health conditions associated with higher risk of medical complications from influenza

If you meet the established criteria listed above, you can attend the H1N1 vaccination program scheduled for November 13, 2009, in the ARC Recreation Gym from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.


Due to the nature of the vaccination process we are asking that individuals be patient and be prepared for an extend wait in line.


The vaccine will be offered on a first come, first served basis to those individuals that meet the above criteria.
